Our Policies: Refunds, Exchanges, and Tour Attendance
Thank you for your interest in the enriching experiences offered at Mushroom Mountain. We are dedicated to providing engaging, educational opportunities to deepen your understanding and appreciation of mushrooms. Please review our policies below to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Requesting Refunds or Replacements:
To request a refund or replacement, please email hello@mushroommountain.com with your order number and the reason for your request. Our team is available to assist you Monday through Thursday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
For General Returns:
Spawn or Fruiting Kit Returns:
Due to the nature of our products, spawn cannot be returned. However, if you receive spawn that is either contaminated or not fully colonized, please email us a picture of the item at hello@mushroommountain.com. We will gladly discuss a replacement to ensure your satisfaction and success with our products.
Other Items:
For extracts and merchandise, we offer a 30-day return policy. Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Non-Returnable Items:
Gift cards and downloadable software products are not eligible for return.
Shipping for Returns:
You are responsible for covering shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Process for General Returns:

Workshop Refund Guidelines:
50% Partial Workshop Refund:
If you cancel at least one month prior to the workshop date for a 50% refund.
25% Partial Workshop Refund:
Cancel two weeks before the workshop date for a 25% refund.
No Refund:
Cancellations less than two weeks before the workshop or no-shows are not eligible for refunds. For Wild Mushroom ID and Food Safety Certification cancellations, customers that have received the online study materials are not eligible for a refund.
Workshop Transfer:
If you cannot attend yourself and wish to send someone in your place, please email hello@mushroommountain.com with the subject line “WORKSHOP TRANSFER” with your order number and the contact information for the person that will attend.
General Attendance Policy:
Registration Required for Mushroom Mountain Events:
All guests wishing to participate in Mushroom Mountain events must be registered. This ensures a high-quality, interactive learning experience.
Support Persons:
Visitors requiring medical or mobility support may bring a support person without additional event registration.
Short Events and Tours:
Guests of participants for events under 2 hours may explore our nature trail or gift shop if they are not participating in the event/workshop. For tours, all attendees, except those providing necessary medical or mobility support, must register and pay the fee to maintain the quality and sustainability of our offerings.
